About Jacob Winn

I was on my ideal career and life path doing what I loved. Then in 2006, chronic pain entered my life. Initially after having my first back surgery, things were back on my expected trajectory. After an unexpected job change and managing this chronic illness, my life continued to change dramatically over the next several years.

Those years involved multiple surgeries and illnesses. Then more difficulties entered our lives when we struggled with infertility as we began trying to start a family. It was a very difficult time. After two years of fertility treatments, we became pregnant with twins; however, joy unexpectedly turned to fear as our twins were born 11 weeks premature and spent 8 weeks in the NICU. As you can imagine, these job transitions and difficult experiences created a strain in our marriage and on our relationships with others.

It is working through these traumatic experiences over the last 16 years that has led me to where I want to serve and support others walking through their own experiences and transitions. I help people navigate relationships, suffering, religious trauma, and their identity. Click here for more details.

When not working, I love to spend time with my family, fish, writing, and playing music. I am a big Tennessee Vols fan and bleed orange. I enjoy the creative process. My passion is serving and helping others reach their full potential.

I am a Life Coach and founder of SpringTree Coaching and Consulting in Clarksville, TN. I am a native of Clarksville and after college, I have lived in Knoxville, TN and Little Rock, AR. My wife, Beth, and I have been married for 20 years and have boy/girl twins. We moved back to Clarksville in 2017. I grew up in church and have been involved in ministry vocationally and as a volunteer for over 25 years. I studied music at Union University before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University. I graduated from MTSU in 2000 earning my Liberal Arts degree studying music, music business, and recording.

After graduating, I spent my career in vocational ministry as a Pastor of Worship and Production and also working in the audio, video, and lighting industry. It is this unique career path that provides me the experience to work with individuals and organizations on relationships, production needs, and marketing to churches.

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

– Jeremiah 17:7-8
